Lois Ann Malphrus is a native of Greenville, South Carolina.  She has spent her lifetime committed to animals, especially horses.  Although her passion and talent for art was obvious at an early age, she chose to follow her dream of becoming a veterinarian. Ann completed her undergraduate and DVM degrees at the University of Georgia, but never forgot her passion for art.  She owns a highly successful veterinary hospital and continues to practice full time. 

          Ann specializes in clay sculpting that is then cast into bronze.  Her goal is to reflect human emotion through the character and beauty of her subject while maintaining accuracy of structure and form.
